Description

Product stewardship as a multidisciplinary function has the unique advantage of juggling many talents. These professionals not only encompass regulatory knowledge but also require technical understanding, business acumen, and networking skills. As product stewards, regulatory activities can vary on a spectrum from sharing positive and engaging feedback to delivering tough news and critical decisions.

It is an easy and common pitfall to fall back on regulatory legalese and lose the target audience in the process. Emerging regulatory landscapes and the growing pace of requirements demands that product stewards develop effective communication skills that translate activities into clear, concise, and aligned deliverables for business audiences - both internally and externally - without overwhelming.

As the epicenter of business enablement, communication is essential and should not be seen as an additional barrier to the work process. The presenter will cover common challenges/solutions to develop product stewards into effective communicators and solution providers while translating necessary regulatory obligations.
