FAQ's
1. WHAT IS FASTMATCH?
FASTMATCH is an electronic, internet based appointment system that can be used by all conference registrants to help plan and arrange their meeting schedules at the 2010 Product Show and Conference.
The system allows any person who has registered for the conference to log on and view available appointment times with any other registered attendee.
2. HOW DO I BEGIN TO USE FASTMATCH?
After you register for the meeting, you will receive a username and password via email. Click on the live link within the email, or copy and paste the link into your browser window to be taken directly to the sign in screen. Registrants can also go to isaconference.org and click on the FASTMATCH icon. The link will take the user to the login screen. Enter the username and password sent to you via email, and you are logged into the system!
Once on the FASTMATCH home screen, click on the link "Add FASTMATCH" to begin searching for an attendee.
3. WHY SHOULD I USE FASTMATCH TO SCHEDULE MY PRODUCT SHOW ACTIVITY?
It is the most efficient way to schedule your time at the Product Show. You can invite trading partners or potential trading partners to meet with you in your booth, or ask to meet them in their booth.
Don't want to wait in line to see distributors or manufacturers representatives? Make a FASTMATCH appointment and there will be no waiting.
Don't want to keep circling a manufacturer's booth waiting for an available representative on Monday or Tuesday ? Make a FASTMATCH Appointment.
You can ask to make appointments with every attendee who has registered for the Product Show and Conference. You can have your entire two-day Product Show schedule committed before you leave your office.
4. HOW WOULD I SELECT ATTENDEES I WANT TO MEET AT THE PRODUCT SHOW?
You can select the name of any attendee registered for the Product Show and Conference. Once you are in the system, you can search for people to meet with based upon location, a contact person's name, company name, product type and business type.
5. HOW DO I KNOW THE PERSON I WANT TO SCHEDULE A MEETING WITH HAS A SPECIFIC TIME SLOT AVAILABLE?
When you click on the name of the person you want to meet, a drop down menu will appear showing all the times available. You can then request any of the available times.
6. WHAT IS A FASTMATCH COORDINATOR?
Companies with a booth at the ISA Product Show and Conference appoint a FastMatch "coordinator" to manage appointments for all Product Show attendees from the company. FastMatch coordinators will receive meeting requests and notifications. Once you log into the FastMatch site, you will be able to assign a FastMatch Coordinator for your company. The FastMatch coordination can help speed the meeting process, ensuring companies meet all their appointments.
7. WHAT TIME SLOTS ARE AVAILABLE USING FASTMATCH?
FASTMATCH is available for both days of the Product Show.
On Monday, May 3rd, FASTMATCH appointments will run from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a break for the luncheon speaker programs from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM.
On Tuesday, May 4th, FASTMATCH appointments will run from 10:00 AM - 2:40 PM.
Appointments are for 15 minutes, with a 5-minute transition time between meetings.
Need more time? You can make a double appointment.
8. I HAVE MORE THAN ONE PERSON MANNING MY BOOTH. CAN FASTMATCH MAKE MORE THAN ONE APPOINTMENT FOR THE SAME TIME SLOT?
Yes. Because appointments are made with people and not with companies, a company with more than one person in a booth can receive multiple appointments during one time slot, but with different representatives.A particular representative can be requsted. The FastMatch coordinator is able to set the number of appointments available for each time slot.
9. AM I REQUIRED TO HAVE APPOINTMENTS WITH EVERYONE WHO USES FASTMATCH?
Accepting a meeting is your decision. The system allows for meetings to be declined or moved to another time. You need to ACCEPT and ACKNOWLEDGE ALL MEETINGS you wish to have, or DECLINE those you do not wish or are unable to have. The system's unique notes feature allows you to respond in a personal way to all requests.You may also request a different meeting time.
10. HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN AN APPOINTMENT I REQUEST IS OFFICIALLY ACCEPTED AND WILL OCCUR?
ALL FASTMATCH APPOINTMENTS ARE SUBJECT TO CONFIRMATION. THOSE SCHEDULING FASTMATCH APPOINTMENTS WILL RECEIVE CONFIRMATION VIA E-MAIL. ALL APPOINTMENTS SHOULD BE CONSIDERED PENDING UNTIL APPOINTMENT MAKERS RECEIVE ACCEPTANCES FROM THE REQUESTED COMPANY OR ORGANIZATION.
IT IS IMPORTANT TO ACKNOWLEDGE ALL REQUESTS RECEIVED REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THEY ARE ACCEPTED OR DECLINED AS THE REQUESTED TIME SLOT WILL REMAIN CLOSED PENDING A COMPANY'S RESPONSE.
Remember you can always check your appointment schedule online. Additionally, a complete schedule will be sent to you 10 days before the Product Show and Conference.
11. CAN I CANCEL MEETINGS I HAVE SET UP WITH FASTMATCH?
The system allows you to cancel meetings. Its notes section allows you to offer reasons for the cancellation.
12. HOW WILL MY CUSTOMERS OR POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS KNOW I HAVE FASTMATCH APPOINTMENTS OR IF I WILL BE ABLE TO MEET WITH THEM?
You will be provided with a board you can display prominently to show what time slots have been filled with FASTMATCH appointments. Individual names of appointments will not be shown, only the times that are committed to appointments. You will fill in your appointment board(s) when you arrive at the Product Show.
13. CAN I HAVE MEETINGS WITH TRADING PARTNERS WHO HAVE NOT USED FASTMATCH?
YES. You can set up your booth or organize your personnel to handle FASTMATCH appointments and handle WALK INS with no appointment.

Please remember that all attendees must register for the 1st Annual ISA Product Show & Conference. Convention Registration CANNOT be accomplished in the FASTMATCH appointment site.
