Description
This symposium will offer valuable information to help teachers across all levels make a difference in the lives of their students through successful implementation of the Common Core State Standards. Information about implementation guides and the development and implementation of the assessment systems will be provided through keynote addresses from representatives of the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) and Smarter Balanced Consortia. The symposium will include legislative updates and information on advocacy, and will close with a report of the work of IRA's Government Relations Committee over the past year.
